Kawah Putih¸ translating to White Crater in Sundanese, is a crater lake 50 km south of Bandung. Leftover from a former eruption, this turquoise white-ish lake is the result of an acidic concentration of sulfur.
It can get quite chilly, with temperatures reaching as low as 10 degrees. So, bring extra layers while enjoying what nature can offer! Visitors can walk around the crater, enjoy the scenery but don’t get to close to the water!
