The economic downfall caused by the Coronavirus has been affecting everyone, but no one is taking it harder than Zoo Negara.
As of yesterday, Zoo Negara has announced that they only have 3 months worth of financial aid left to sustain the place.
This is because the movement control order (MCO), which took effect on March 18, has caused the zoo to receive a lack of donation as well as ticket sales, forcing it to utilise its emergency fund to cover operating costs.
The one good news is that the animals are healthy and are being fed accordingly.
Yet, with no organizations coming forward to help the cause, the zoo has no choice but to turn to the public.
Calling up for all the animals lover lets give some donation for their food and medicines 😢 can share with your friends if you don’t have enough money. Log on to Zoo Negara website for the donation 🙏🏻 pic.twitter.com/xBDV483pP8
