Pokémon is making a huge comeback. And it’s no exception here in Malaysia. This holiday, gather your fellow trainers and embark an exciting journey to Malaysia’s first ever Pokémon Festival in Resort World Genting!
Yes, you read that right.
This is your golden opportunity to catch ’em all and bring as many Pokéballs as possible as you experience an adventure of a lifetime this Christmas and Chinese New Year (yup, CNY!). To those who will be away this December for the long holiday break, fret not because the festival starts from 1st December 2018 till 28th February 2019.
Let’s find out what you can expect at this first ever POKÉMON festival, shall we?
1. Trainer Program

Grab your Pokéballs and join the Trainer Program to catch 32 first generation Pokémon. They will be scattered around SkyAvenue throughout various locations and at different times. Upon completing the mission you’ll win yourself some limited-edition stickers. Collect all 8 designs Pokémon stickers at the pop-up store!
2. Pokémon Christmas Tree

It’s not Christmas without the Christmas Tree!
Now you can spot a 40-foot Christmas tree filled with mini Pikachu, Charmander, Snorlax and Eevee in Skytropolis Funland! This is a dream come true for all Pokémon fans, no?
3. Pikachu Parade & Dance

There will be 8 giant Pikachu performing in the parade.

There will be over 50 small Pikachu plush surrounding a giant, inflatable 6-metre-high Pikachu in Skytropolis. That, my friend, is a view to behold!
