Who doesn’t love a good can of the classic Coca-Cola flavor aka the biggest selling drink in history.
Dr. John Pemberton first envisioned Coca-Cola as a cure for a hangover. Several weeks later, he took the mixture to an Atlanta drug store and blended it with carbonated water to create the first-ever Coca-Cola, soda drink.
Ever since then, the company has been bringing different formulations of the beverage to the market. Here a compilation of some of the coolest Coca=Cola flavours that they have brought forth so far:
1. Coca Cola Plus Coffee
One of coke’s latest flavors, Coca-Cola Plus Coffee blends both beverages in one drink. It has more caffeine than a normal can of coke but apparently, it has been said that it has less than your average cup of coffee.
2. Coca Cola Apple
Coca-Cola Japan launched a limited-edition Apple flavour drink and people who have tasted it has said that the Apple Coke is quite light but the flavour is amazing – it tastes like a bit of apple juice is mixed in with the classic Coca-Cola formula. Coke also announced that the flavor is not artificial at all which is great.
3. Coca Cola Clear
The clear flavour was launched in Japan in 2018 and it lacks the distinctive caramel flavour from the original product. It’s distinctive for its translucent appearance. The drink has a lemony taste to it and has zero calories. It reminiscent of Crystal Pepsi in the 1990s.
4. The New Look
One of Coca-Cola’s biggest branding changes up to date. The company released four new Diet Coke flavours in the States in 2018 which are, Twisted Mango, Zesty Blood Orange, Feisty Cherry, and Ginger Lime. This change-up aims to attract younger consumers who are increasingly opting for sparkling water over soda.
5. Coca Cola Raspberry
This fruity flavor was first launched in 2006 in New Zealand and it was revived again after 10 years. In an unexpected turn, the company came out with a sugar-free version in the UK in 2019.
