The Malaysian chef Siti Safura Mohd Tawil has made us proud in the culinary world!
Winning a gold medal in the Asian – Indian category of a culinary competition that took place in Dublin, Ireland which was judged by multiple Irish Chefs, this Malaysian chef has propelled the nation even further in the culinary world.
Even when she was down with a fever she still managed to pull through!
In her Facebook story, you can see her holding the Malaysian flag as she receives her gold medal.
The dish that made the gold medal was a Malaysian fusion dish – Nasi Lemak X Nasi Kerabu with the signature kerabu, blue rice and keropok lekor from the Nasi Kerabu dish combined with the chicken rendang from Nasi lemak, to be exact. We Malaysians are salivating from reading all this! This dish is called “Nasi Lemak Bunga Telang”.
Another achievement that has also made us “lagi” proud is the buttermilk pasta that won her a silver medal in the pasta category!
