Simpsons is well known for predicting the future, but they also largely contribute to the pile of GIF’s that we fans use on a daily basis, and in the latest episode of Simpsons they’re finally acknowledging it!
In the latest episode of the Simpsons, “The girl on the bus” where Lisa receives a text message from her father Homer to which he says “Lisa, I can’t find my phone”. “you’re texting on it” Lisa replies (typical Homer) and that’s when Homer replies with the famous GIF from the 1994 episode “Homer Loves Flanders”.

The GIF is from the famous scene of the said episode where Homer tries his best to be friends with his neighbor Ned Flanders.
Homer runs by Ned and asks about their plans for the day to where Flanders replies that he’s going to visit the boy’s grandmother for the day but obviously pointing out that it’s a family only visit. This is where Homer feels embarrassed and fades into a bush.
The show has been running for over 29 years making it 30 this year! With a healthy fan base who craves for comedy that only Simpsons can deliver.
