It has been a heck loads of sweater weather in KL as of late and it got us craving for something Thai and spicy whenever the chill hits our spine. There are actually more ways than we’ll ever know to have that aromatic, earthy bowl of green goodness, so these are among our favorite ways to have green curry for any occasion:
1. Thai Chicken Green Curry with Bread
It is very common to have green curry together with rice in Malaysia but having it with bread brings your gastronomic experience to another level. Thai Green Curry sauce, as we already know, has a flavorful punch of spices. Bread in general, on the other hand, has great absorbent level and is good to go with soups or dishes where you’ll just want to lick its gravy dry, hence, making bread and green curry a fantastic combo! We can already imagine biting into a chunk of bread where the green curry oozes out effortlessly. Lip-smacking good!
2. Authentic Thai Green Curry with Rice

3. Thai Green Curry Fried Rice
This dish is pretty much of the mishmash version of the classic green curry and white rice, but better because every bite is infused with curry!
4. Thai Green Curry with Rice Noodle
Second to bread, noodle is always another option to replace rice as it seeps fluid perfectly, ideal for those who drink their gravy till the very last drop.
5. Good ol’ Burger ala McDonald’s Style
If there’s one thing that we love about McDonald’s, it has got to be the fact that they always localize their menu. With their latest invention, the Thai Fish Burger with Green Curry Sauce is an instant hit! The spicy & sour taste from their Thai green curry sauce gives their lack of luster fillet o’ fish that extra kick. What a fan-Thai-stic idea, isn’t it? Grab them before it’s gone!
