Phew, what a close call! We barely made the cut as one of the few South Asian countries they will be stopping by. I am pretty sure Malaysian fans were bummed out at first when they included neighboring countries like Singapore and Philippines but not Malaysia. After all, the rockers came here thrice, so how could they not return again right?
The quintet rock band, in which, comprises of Brandon Boyd (lead vocalist), Mike Einziger (lead guitarist), Jose Pasillas (drummer), Ben Kenney (bassist) and Chris Kilmore (keyboardist) has achieved various international recognition through their third album in 1999, “Make Yourself” producing several hits including their highest charting song, Drive, which topped music charts and stayed at the top spot for weeks.
So far, Incubus have produced over 8 studio albums that successfully sold over 13 million copies worldwide, performed for over millions of people from around the world and alongside with other alternative rock bands like Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Deftones and the Flaming Lips. Now if this isn’t the definition of living the dream as rock stars with all these impressive achievements, then I don’t know what is!
Presented by TuneTalk and organized by IME Malaysia and InTour Live, Malaysia will be the second stop for the Californian rock alternative icons in support of the band’s latest album, “8”, which is their first studio release since “If Not Now, When?” in 2011.
