Parties, gifts, and a huge celebration isn’t what is on this 17 turning 18 year old Malaysian teenager’s wish list.
A pledge made by Hazmi Nabil Mahmad Faisaal to make a change in society by using his special day as a time to do good for the community by pledging to pick up rubbish around his neighborhood, for an hour a day for 23 days!
Harini agak sibuk dan ingatkan harini tak banyak sangat kutipan sebab sampai lokasipun lambat dalam pukul 6.15 petang tapi alhamdullilah harini banyak pulak kutipan. Tak sampai 1 jam dua plastik sudah penuh. Sampah harini banyak putung rokok dan kotak rokok. pic.twitter.com/pd8md7vp4S

According to Rojak Daily, this isn’t Hazmi’s first rodeo when it comes to picking up trash, he told Rojak Daily that he has been picking up rubbish for years now as it is his way of giving back to society and a way of showing his love for the environment.
The only difference is that now Hazmi decided to take a pledge while posting it up on social media specifically his Twitter account.

Some of the surprising finds that Hazmi found while picking up trash were 3 mobile phones disposed in one of the areas he was at.
