The desserts and drinks in the cafe are made with a traditional family recipe! The shop is run by three siblings from Ipoh and the family has been running a bean curd stall in Ipoh for more than two decades!

The moment you step foot in Dao, it makes you feel like you’re home. The owner of the cafe wanted the interior to bring comfort to customers and remind them of the importance of family. On top of that, the interior design will bring you back to your childhood days. The materials used for deco are “Good Morning Towels”, tin can telephones, stickers, and more that were used back in the past.

The price range for the soy milk dessert and drinks in Dao ranges from RM2.80 to RM15. It’s pretty affordable for a cafe standard as you can also chill in the shop for a good time.
3. They use only the best ingredients
Dao serves Ginger Syrup Tau Fu Fah, Brown Sugar Tau Fu Fah, Soya Milk, and Black Bean Soya Milk. On top of that the Black Bean Soya Milk has an unique colour which is in green colour. The reason why the Black Bean Soya Milk has this unusual color is because of the process during the production which removes the outer skin of the bean, revealing the bean’s inner green flesh.
4. The detailed production process
The process of preparing their soy milk products is very intricate. From the very first step of soaking the beans, to the last step which is boiling it, the employees are very specific with it.
5. No preservatives
All the products available at Dao are preservative-free, hence you can eat it without any worries. However, if you wish to enjoy their goodies overnight, it is recommended for you to put them in the refrigerator.
