At just 17-years-old, Billie Eilish has cemented her presence as one of the youngest and most in-demand artists in the music industry.
That might sound like a throwaway line that is often used when describing up-and-coming young performers, but make no mistake: Eilish is already a well-established artist, and if the last year has proved anything it’s that her star power eclipses that of her peers.
The 17-year-old musician is reportedly earning a massive deal with Apple TV+, a subsidiary of Apple, on a documentary about Eilish which is currently being shot at the moment.
According to many other reliable sources on the internet, the streaming service could potentially pay Eilish $25 million USD to purchase the rights to the documentary, which follows the singer’s private life following the release of her debut studio album, ‘WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP WHERE DO WE GO?’ back in March.
Reports detail that the film was directed by R.J. Cutler and produced by Interscope Films. It is also said to have cost just $1 million USD to $2 million USD to create.
Apple’s interest in purchasing the currently untitled documentary further cements its support of the rising star. Just a few days ago, Apple crowned Eilish as Artist of the Year during its first-ever Apple Music Awards.
The documentary is expected to release on Apple TV+ in 2020. Stay tuned as the story develops.
Meanwhile, the young superstar has also previously collaborated with clothing retail company Bershka in releasing her merchandise and established her very own clothing brand ‘Blōhsh’ that sells vinyl albums, CD’s, and even clothing items for kids.
