The news has been covering Aishwarya Rai’s gorgeous princess dress, but they did miss out some other gorgeous princess-looking celebs that were there! Let’s take a look at these gorgeous dresses and who wore them:
1. Aishwarya Rai
I don’t care if other new sources have covered it, no one can truly reiterate enough how gorgeous her dress was. If you want to look as stunning as that, you can try pieces like maturkse haljine.
This Bollywood superstar sashayed on the Cannes Film Festival’s red carpet in this Cinderella-esque gown by Michael Cinco. The icy blue off-shoulder dress was covered in beads and embroidered silver leaves, boasting a ball-worthy voluminous skirt. I mean, look all that luscious fabric!
The actress wore her gorgeous hair down and had minimal accessories; a few silver rings, so that her dress would speak for itself. She also consistently keeps her status as a Cannes stunner and frequent quest to this annual occasional.
2. Kendall Jenner
Forget about the Kardashians. Kendall Jenner is owning the Cannes Film Festival in Drance, walking the red carpet in a stunning gown.
This gorgeous dress is a Giambattista Valli Haute Couture and is extremely flowy! It looks amazing from every angle, and looks simply magical from the back.
It does come with a little problem, though, when she looks like she’s actively battling a wind-induced wardrobe malfunction. It was worth it though and so worth the risk! We also have to talk about the amazing outfits she wore for the entire event!
3. Elsa Hosk
Elsa Hosk, a Cannes rookie, certainly brought her A-game with a sparkly and voluminous dress, channelling her inner Cinderella, but unlike Aishwarya Rai, she added a sexy slit to her dress.
This Victoria’s Secret Angel stepped up to the occasion with this gorgeous dress. The supermodel wore a custom Alberta Ferreti powder blue off-the-shoulder gown with a sexy high slit and added some diamond earrings to finish off her fairy-tale look.
4. Rihanna
Rihanna might’ve looked stunning at the Met Gala earlier this month but she returned to the 2017 Cannes Film Festival with another stunning red carpet look.
For the event, the singer wrapped herself up in a black organza dress with a voluminous strapless dress by Ralph & Russo Couture and matched it with a demure shawl. She added a few jewels by the same brand which includes a luxe pair of earrings and an edge yet elegant choker.
And then there’s also THIS outfit :O
5. Elle Fanning
With the princess style being in, Elle Fanning was the perfect princess at the festival. After all, she is Aurora from Sleeping Beauty.
The 19-year-old arrived at the red carpet in a Vivienne Westwood couture gown which was fit for a royal. The dress even came with a surprise.
The front was minimal and demure, with only some draping on the bodice whilst the back was embroidered with whimsical doodles of flower petals, hearts, squiggles and arrows – and it was even signed by the designer herself. Damn. And just look at her day 5 and 7 (respectively) outfit!
And then there’s also this purple gown:
She’s such a true princess!
6. Jourdan Dunn
Jourdan Dunn arrived at the festival in a gorgeous Elie Saab Couture dress.
It was nude, sheer and with a gorgeous neckline and pattern design.
7. Sonam Kapoor
Elie Saab dresses are having a real moment on the Cannes red carpet this year, I mean look at this gorgeous Bollywood actress.
Just a gorgeous gold glitter goddess.
8. Winnie Harlow
Winnie Harlow stunned the red carpet with her gorgeous blue Zuhair Murad Dress at this festival.
There was also this gorgeous ensemble:
9. Adriana Lima
This supermodel dazzled the crowd at the Loveless premiere. The dazzling embellished dress looked amazing on her as paired it with statement necklace with bold red lips and wet hair look finished off her look.
Lima strolled in a white, figure-hugging white strapless number that featured a slight trail which she paired with a massive diamond choker. Also, doesn’t she look like Anastasia, but just in a white dress?
10. Araya Hargate
Araya Hargate in Alexis Mabille is just simply stunning.
She flaunts her baby bump like a baws in a gorgeous down with an oxblood trail the flowed behind her and finished the look.
Also, let’s look at her other gorgeous outfit – a Zuhair Murad gown with Chopard jewels:
Other notable mentions would include:
Eva Longoria’s embellished Marchesa dress:
Uma Thurman in Atelier Versace:
Naomi Campbell in two Atelier Versace gowns – Good vs Evil Goddess. Yasss.
Olga Kurylenko in another Elie Saab dress = divine.
Bella Hadid in her stunning Alexandre Gauthier dress, her Roberto Cavalli dress… basically all her outfits the entire festival. I wouldn’t say princess, but I’d say she was certainly stunning.
