If you’re a frequent WhatsApp user, you will be very familiar with its function to create many group chats with different groups of people to make communication easier with them.
But sometimes, it can get pretty annoying having too many group chats, especially if you’re added into the group chat unreluctantly by someone else.
Now that’s no longer a problem anymore because WhatsApp is finally coming out with a function enabling you to reject group invitations now if that is not your intention to be added into the group.
How can you do that you ask? Just go to the settings in your WhatsApp and look for privacy options under account settings.
Then, you can see that the groups selection is opened to everyone and all you need to do is just to switch it to your own preferences whether it’s just people from your contacts can add you into groups only or nobody at all!
If you choose the ‘nobody’ option, you will still get an invitation request from WhatsApp and you can then choose to accept or reject the invitation. Mind that the invitation will only last for 72 hours and it will expire after.
We can probably already guess how this function can be beneficial to a lot of people but it’s not until WhatsApp officially launch this function yet as it’s currently still under development and will soon be enabled to both Apple and Android users.
What do you think of the new function? Let us know in the comments below!
