Video games has been an emergence since before the dawn of fancy gadgets where the Angry Birds would hit our phones and clans would clash in battle on the field within our phone. Whether we are the classic kids of 90s or the new generation of the 21st century, one could not deny that these video game characters are truly iconic when it comes to their creative presence and unique visuals and gameplay.
1) Rayman
Rayman had a fair share of fun adventurous games, going on a journey with his sidekick Globox in saving his friends from the evil clutches of robot pirates to the stress-release, funky sprint race game in Rayman Rush.
2) Jill Valentine
Jill was an iconic feminine character for her stint in the Resident Evil games especially in Nemesis, warding off hordes of zombies in her sexy blue outfit in Raccoon City. This is one game that everyone enjoyed and had the best warzone hacks. It was a shame that her character only has a minor role in the film adaption franchise, seeing that Sienna Guillory suits the role perfectly.
3) Spider-Man
The web-slinger is no doubt an iconic character in the universe of virtual reality, having to appear various platforms of games from then till now. Some of his memorable games are Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro from Sony Playstation, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

The story of the honourable Nintendo hero rescuing Princess Zelda, fighting through dungeons and portals was one of the favourable games of the past decade that it spawned to multiple sequels and it’s legacy is carried on till this day.
5) Sonic The Hedgehog
Sonic was a welcome character to the gaming universe, as the blue hedgehog was the top underdog character next to Mario having to stop his archenemy Dr Eggman from dominating the world into chaos.
6) Master Chief
Master Chief was an enhanced supersoldier and titular character of the Halo game franchise where the battle between humanity and a horde of aliens known as The Covenant ensued (hey there, facehuggers). Along with his mysterious tactical presence and donning the heavy armour and helmet, the mercenary is such a cool dude in the gaming universe.
7) Mario
The journey of the noble Mario saving the princess has been a cult hit to gamers and nerds and having to play it again would push the nostalgic button of our childhood days.
8) Crash Bandicoot
Crash games was our Temple Run during our younger days, having to run towards our screen instead with no aware of the obstacles whatsoever making it one of the toughest yet funniest game to ever played.
9) Tomb Raider
Lara Croft was a huge crush to us fanboys and gamers out there, as the superb heroine is a force to be reckoned with, going on the journey of battling bizarre creatures and evil forces in sacred tombs.
