Urbanscapes has been running for 17 years and is back again to grace us with their new and ever-changing lineup of artists that’ll take over the stages of KL from 16th to 24th November 2019.
With new themes every year, This year’s Urbanscapes would have up to 80 festival programs and urge that the festival goes #reconnectKL.
The festival will be taking place all over Kuala Lumpur. Some of the places include The Godown KL, Lorong Bandar 13, MoMo’s, Drum Asia, The Chow Kit, Lorong Panggung, Medan Pasar, and many other beautiful places residing in the city.
As said by the founder, Adrian Yap, “We want Urbanscapes to inspire people to get out of their homes and explore their city, to discover new experiences and create meaningful conversations around all the fest has to offer”. The festival has never failed to incorporate both local and international artists celebrating a pool of different and diverse forms of music.
Urbanscapes is once again partnering up with Umobile. The Unlimited Grooves Festival will be happening on Sunday 24 November. For over the span of 3 days, The UGF will be showcasing performers from notable artists such as Boy Pablo, Colde, Lost Spaces, Sunset Rollercoaster, and The Drums. Wondering where to get the tickets? You can get the tickets from www.galactix.asia. U mobile customers enjoy exclusivity by being able to purchase the tickets on 10 Sept, just 2 days before the public.
Every year, the festival is accompanied by vibrant art installations. This year NIPPON PAINT will be apart of the creativity by presenting the theme “Colours Of Life”, where the entire city will be painted with vibrant colors by street artists. There will be performances by stellar artists by using Nippon’s trend colors that plan to present a form of interactive arts turning the landmark into an urban playground
