4) Emin
Emin is not just your typical beatboxer, bringing the skill and art to a whole new level on both musicality and technicality. I mean, really, who needs drums, trumpets, a composer, DJ mixers, etc, when you have Emin and his microphone. Emin discovered his talent when he made random sounds with his mouth without realising it was a thing called beatboxing. Many of us have done that, but I don’t think we can call it beatboxing. I think I’d just call mine ‘spitting on my laptop’. It was then that he looked at videos on YouTube and found out about this type of art form and it inspired him to take it to the next level. After 3 years of hard work, Emin has taken Malaysia by storm with his passion, talent and skills. He’s also currently holding the title of 2015’s Armageddon Beatbox Champion, has won TrazzFM’s Talent Show and won 2nd place for Freedom Open Beatboxing Championship in 2014.
