Late in getting a present for someone? Well, you’re saved. I’ve searched the internet (when I say internet, I really mean Reddit), and even asked some Facebook friends about the shittiest gifts ever given or received! And some of them… well, they get pretty ‘creative’.
1. We all need some stationeries.
Quick, someone buy him an eraser for Christmas! It’ll complete his set!
2. Now, what did I say about stationeries?
GIVE ME BACK MY THINGS!
3. I know every student will appreciate this.
We have to admit, sometimes we NEED the Maggi.
4. And we all know that one weird uncle.
I love how everyone has that one weird uncle that makes every family gathering really uncomfortable, and even more so with their crazy gifts which they think is really funny.
5. Well… that’s… creepy.
We’ve all had those nights, eh? What more, I’m sure all of us probably have at least a picture of a friend that they don’t know about which we keep for moments like these.
6. Greatest. Mistake. Ever…?
Now she has TWO boyfriends! I’d say that’s a win! Also the stress relief lotion on the table really just completes the picture.
7. Just stop right there.
It’s things like these that causes body image problems. So here’s a PSA: Never give anyone, especially kids, dieting books. Also, to every auntie and uncle, please stop telling us “Oh wow you got fat!” or “Oh wow you lost some weight!” every year.
8. Well this will haunt him for the rest of his life…
I’m sure we all know how newtfig feels every Christmas/family gathering with our family members just telling everyone embarrassing stories about us… repetitively… every year.
9. Oh God Pinterest.
I’m very sure this has happened to every one of us. I mean, I’m sure you guys have seen travesties like this online and in real life:
I love how many failed Pinterest attempts just look like products from hell that will haunt us in our sleeps. But I mean… it’s the thought that counts, right?
10. I might actually do this.
I mean it’s Christmas after all. Spreading joy and laughter that costs you only $2 and some effort is genius. This has to be the most creative one on this list.
11. As Asians, I’m sure this is #relatable.
I mean, how many of us were given ‘ang paus’ to hold to 5 seconds before they’re ripped from out hands to be put into our ‘bank accounts’. I’m sure each of us have been given workbooks as gifts too so we can ‘get ahead’ of our school year.
12. Just wow.
Well, she just won the entire post.
