The 64th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony was held in Las Vegas today!

1. Jon Batiste – “WE ARE” (2021)
Jon Batiste received not only the most nominations of the season with a total of 11, he also won the most for the night with 5 awards which includes “Album of the Year” for “WE ARE”, “Best American Roots Performance” and “Best American Roots Song” for “Cry”, “Best Music Video” for “Freedom” and “Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media” for the animated-film “Soul”.
2. Silk Sonic – “An Evening With Silk Sonic” (2021)
Silk Sonic, the duo of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, took home the awards for all four of their nominations thanks to their hit song “Leave the Door Open” from their debut album “An Evening With Silk Sonic”! It single handedly won the “Record of the Year”, “Song of the Year”, “Best R&B Performance” and “Best R&B Song”.
3. Olivia Rodrigo – “SOUR” (2021)
The 2022 GRAMMYs “Best New Artist” recipient, Olivia Rodrigo also took home “Best Pop Solo Performance” for her hit single “drivers license” from her debut album “SOUR” which received the “Best Pop Vocal Album” award of the night too.
4. Chris Stapleton – “Starting Over” (2020)
Country-singer Chris Stapleton also took home all 3 awards that he was nominated for. He received “Best Country Solo Performance” for “You Should Probably Leave”, Best Country Song” for “Cold” – both tracks from his latest album “Starting Over” that won the “Best Country Album”.
5. Kanye West – “Donda” (2021)
Kanye West received two awards for the night. “Best Melodic Rap Performance” for “Hurricane” and “Best Rap Song” for “Jail” – both featured in his latest GRAMMYs-nominated album “DONDA”.
6. Foo Fighters – “Medicine At Midnight” (2021)
In conjunction with the recent death of Foo Fighters’ drummer, Taylor Hawkins, GRAMMYs paid tribute to him at the award ceremony as they swept 2 awards for the night. They won “Best Rock Performance” for “Making a Fire” and “Best Rock Song” for “Waiting on a War” – both also featured in their latest GRAMMYs-nominated album “Medicine At Midnight”.
