What else better to do on a fine weekend night than to watch your favourite celebrities (or celebrity crush) guest starring in talk shows or even hosting them? We have seen so much of our actors, actresses and artists in movies acting as a character that we neglected to see their own fun, cheerful personalities, and these are some of the best late night shows to watch them.
1) Jimmy Kimmel Live
One of the longest veterans of late night television shows, Jimmy Kimmel had interviewed with numerous celebs and various artists from around the world with the latest movie scoops and sneak peaks. Lately, Jimmy’s schedule is on hold due to his son’s heart surgery, thus the show has featured guest hosts such as Chris Pratt, Jennifer Lawrence, and Neil Patrick Harris. Look out for Jennifer Lawrence episode, as she really deserves her own talk show after her stint in Jimmy Kimmel Live.
2) Conan
Conan O’Brien is the longest working talk show host currently if I am not mistaken, as the guy had host other shows before eventually to his very own titular show, Conan. The guy’s persona and humour makes you want to punch his face out of happiness (kidding, we love you Conan), and he would come out with the most hilarious puns and jokes after.
3) The Late Late Show With James Corden
You must be living somewhere in the misty mountains if you had never heard of this guy here. He is the one who carpools with celebrities and scream their lungs out and sing together in the part of this session of his show known as the carpool karaoke. This exceptionally brilliant show shows the fun side and quirky personality of celebrities.
4) The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
This egg-cellent show feels like a feel-good show that is more of leisure chats than interviews with celebs. After a session of talking and chatting on the celebs daily lives, Jimmy and the guest celebrities will participate in various games, most notably are the Box Of Lies and Egg Russian Roulette. Catch the episode where the sexual tension grows between him and Nicole Kidman and the episodes with Kristen Stewart, where the Twilight star was such a cool gal and she’s not as emotionless as we think she is.
5) Saturday Night Live
This is the best show to watch your favourite celebrities hosting a late night television show, breaking characters and showing their bizarre side and nervous emotions when it comes to hosting a show all by themselves. From Felicity Jones to John Cena to Margot Robbie to Chris Hemsworth, you name it and search up for your favourite celeb episodes. Heck, there is even a Korean adaptation of Saturday Night Live for the oppa, noona and kpop lovers as well.
