The summer Olympics will be held in Tokyo, Japan this year, with exciting news unveiled to the world as we fast approach the prestige event.
Another monumental event will be happening this year and Japanese schoolchildren are currently voting for the official Tokyo 2020 Olympics mascot, but the winner still won’t be pulling double duty as the Games’ ambassador!
And guess what? That honor has been afforded to a cast of anime characters that carry both the trend and the significant Japanese animation culture, some of whom are famous throughout the world!
There will be a total of 9 2D superheroes that will be featured as mascots.
