Founder of Othrs Barbers, The Burrow Barbers, Asli Barbers, and CutXDignity, Lex started his social entrepreneurship back in 2015 and never looked back since. He has been in the hairdressing industry for over 10 years now. Besides of giving haircuts, he had also established Othrs Barbers School with the objective of giving impact to the community through teaching the skill of barbering. Despite having his own barber shop, Lex wants to make a radical move by adding value to his work. He began to pursue his career as men’s hairdressing by giving free haircuts to the orphanages and old folks’ homes. As how Lex has put it on his Instagram: ” Building others and building myself is all about balance. Nothing less nothing more.”

With the huge supports from her customers, Esther soon established a name for herself in the online fashion scene and she also opened her first retail outlet in Penang. Co-founder of The Picha Project. the social enterprise was named after a 3 year old Myammar boy Pita (read as Picha) who is the youngest son of the first refugee family that joined their movement since January 2016. Suzanne and her team (Kim Lim and Swee Lin) objectives have always been empowering the refugees in Malaysia to provide job opportunities to earn a living for them and their families. Hence, the Picha Project has be a platform for the refugees to help them sustaining their lives by cooking and cater to the public. Suzanne and her team uses their professional guidance to leads the business by using their cooking skills. They have been served over a total of 70,000 meals to the public by 11 refugees families.
