Desperate times call for desperate measures.
You’ve heard of counting sheep, now what about pasta?
The recent coronavirus outbreak has resulted in a worldwide restriction on movement and Malaysia is no exception. We’re currently in our third phase of the Movement Control Order and although we understand that this is a necessary and crucial step to take, we can’t help succumbing to the boredom that comes from almost a month of quarantine.
People have turned to Netflix and cooking but this Malaysian student studying abroad has come up with a rather unconventional way to while his time away.
The student counted the number of pasta noodles in a packet whilst being quarantined. He then proceeded to post an Instagram story asking his audience to gauge how many noodles were present in the packet he was holding up.
After leaving them to stew for a bit, he then revealed the total number of pasta noodles – 614.
Now we know how many sticks of pasta there are in a 500g packet of pasta from Asda. Maybe we can start counting the number of grains of rice in a packet from Mydin next?
How many grains of rice do you think are there in a packet? Leave us your guesses down below!
