What’s a sweet affair without decadent desserts? With these sophisticated sweet treats, you don’t have to fly all the way to Paris anymore! Located at Petaling Jaya, Forêt Blanc is a local patisserie that all sweet tooths will love.
In conjunction of meeting up with our Friends of Sevenpie, they were thrilled as we are to savour these desserts.
Here’s what we went down!
It started with an introduction of Forêt Blanc and meet the dynamic duo, Alex and Kenny!
Forêt Blanc (which is French for “white forest”, a combination of both their Chinese surnames) specialises in entremets – delicate and elegant desserts that are meant to suit any occasion while being aesthetically pleasing.
We had a taste of the Brown Butter Waffle along with salted caramel drizzle and pecan praline. The crunchy yet soft waffle is a must try here!
The latest unicorn craze is made apparent is everyone’s social media – this adorable freezy bowl Berry Mallow Corn looks good, and tastes even better too. It comes with handmade vanilla icecream, strawberry cheesecake, meringue wings and everything magical!
One of Forêt Blanc’s classic bestseller: L’Opera Cake! Layered with chocolate and espresso, this decadent piece will mesmerize chocolate lovers out there!
Happy Pollar is a refreshing gourmet icecream with flavours of yogurt and mint!
Other than digging our faces into these desserts, it’s always a delight to meet new and familiar faces during our Friends of Sevenpie meet-up!
