Or maybe the National Library is just too much of a hassle for a drive over (and yes, we do have a National Library in case you’re wondering). Well, whether you’re rushing for your Final Year Thesis or looking for a book to read, the National Library now has an e-book platform that allows users to borrow books and read for free!

You can access the e-books via the National Library’s website here or through the Libby app (we’ve included the download link below!). You will have to enter your registered library card number to borrow the e-book.
If you don’t have one, you can use these registration numbers (for free) ranging from pnm001 to pnm999, or eb001 to eb999. However, it would be a shared card and only limited to 10 books per card. Loan periods are from 7 – 14 days and the best audiobooks are available too! Book lovers, rejoice!

At the moment, there are up to 14, 000 titles available to be borrowed! A Facebook post writes that the launch of the e-books platform is to encourage Malaysians to read more. So, what are you waiting for? Grab your phones and download the app! The Libby app is available both in Android , iOS and Windows.
