It’s celebration time for hip hop music lovers! Netflix’s First Music Competition Series: Rhythm + Flow is set to debut on October 9th!
Coming to Netflix by executive producers Legend, Jeff Gaspin, Jesse Collins, Nikki Boella, Jeff Pollack, Mike Jackson and Ty Stiklorius, Rhythm + Flow, “hip-hop’s first legit TV competition” will discover the next hip-hop sensation and looks like it’s going to be a big hit!
It was during Cardi B’s set at the Made in America Festival that Netflix released the music competition’s first teaser! You can catch a glimpse of the show, it’s looking lit to say the least!
The search for the next best hip-hop talent is on and of course, with the help of some of the biggest hip-hop names! Cardi B, who starred, in reality, show Love & Hip Hop: New York, Chance the Rapper who has produced a string of successful music, and T.I who have had experience in producing his own range of MTV reality shows will be the three main judges for the show, with supplementary artists and popular figures in the industry to surprising us along the way! The three main judges will also receive executive producer credits.
The Music Competition Series will air 10 episodes across 3 weeks. The first four episodes episodes will be of the auditions that took place in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Atlanta. The week following that will feature cyphers, rap battles, and music videos. The final week will focus on samples, collaborations, and the anticipated finale where the show’s first winner will be announced!
