Ladurée was founded by miller and prolific writer Louis-Ernest Ladurée at 16 Rue Royale, Paris in 1862. It was once a small bakery and making pastries. It was well-known as the best macarons ever. The double-decker macarons were created around 1930 by his grandson, Pierre Desfontaines.
Ladurée provides sweet treat for those who has a sweet tooth- macarons with light and crunchy shells, mildly sweet and silky filling. There’s a wide variety of flavors such as citron, vanilla, rose, orange blossom, liquorice, chestnut, pistachio, pure origin chocolate from Columbia, blackcurrant violet, coffee, praline, raspberry and etc. These classic macaron flavors cost RM12 per piece.
Premium macaron flavors are also available, such as golden chocolate flavors that cost RM18 per piece.
Other than the signature macarons, cakes and pastries are also available at Ladurée Pavillion.
We all have to agree that sweet delicacies like macarons, pastries or cakes are best paired with a cup of tea or coffee So, if you’re stopping by soon for a tea, do give their signature Ladurée tea or coffee a go.
