#1 Getting there
Shuttle Bus Service
As Colmar Tropicale is one of the property of Berjaya Times Square, it provides back and fro shuttle service from Colmar Tropicale Resort to Berjaya Times Square. The shuttle service routes are as below:
The shuttle service fare depends on the various type of journey of your choice. A one-way journey from Berjaya Times Square to Colmar Tropicale Resort cost RM28 per person. However, if you wish to visit the Japanese Village and Botanical Garden, it costs RM38 per person, which includes entrance tickets and shuttle service. The price for adult and children are the same for both packages. On the other hand, they also provide a return journey package which is inclusive of Japanese Village and Botanical Garden entrance tickets and it cost RM60 (adult) and RM55 (child).
Own Transport
You can also opt to drive yourself from KL to Colmar Tropicale. It will take you approximately an hour and a half to get there from KL. It is more convenient to drive there as you can head to places around Bukit Tinggi for food. Other than that, some people would visit Genting Highlands as it is only half an hour away from Colmar Tropicale.
#2 Stay
Colmar Tropicale French Theme Resort
Most people will choose to stay in Colmar Tropicale Resort as it is located only a stone throw away from the attractions. Free shuttle service from Colmar Tropicale Resort to Japanese Village and Botanical Garden is also provided by the resort. Do take note that the room prices vary depending on season, so be sure to check their official website to get the most updated info about the price and availability of their rooms.

#3 Attractions
Colmar Tropicale French Village
For starters, it is a must to hang out at Colmar Tropicale French Village. The architecture and design of Colmar Tropicale French Village is very similar to the lodges – Fairway Holiday Park, which makes it very popular among Malaysians as its and cottages are perfect OOTD backdrops.
Walking through the French building will definitely make you feel like you’re actually visiting a real castle overseas. Strategically located amongst the lush, green highlands of Pahang, its fresh air and comfortable environment will help you to ease your mind for a bit.
Visitors can take picture at a few popular spots located around the vicinity, such as the main entrance of Colmar Tropicale French Village, the small lake right beside the main lake, the street inside Colmar Tropicale French Village and castle located right opposite of the resort which is also a luxury hotel called The Chateau Spa & Organic Wellness Resort.
In addition, there’s some scheduled performances throughout the day which includes local dances which held at the stage located in Colmar Tropicale French Village.
BONUS: Japanese Village
The Japanese Village is located at 3,500 feet above sea level, nearby Colmar Tropicale French Village. Tourists can either drive there or take the shuttle service provided by the resort. Japanese Village would definitely a great place for people who love nature as its garden is located in a tropical rainforest. According to Colmar Tropicale website, the garden was designed by renowned Japanese architect, Kajo Ariizumi and was built by a team of 22 skilled craftsmen from Japan.
There are some attractions in Japanese Village such as Botanical Garden, Japanese Tea House, Tatami Spa, Ryo Zan Tei Japanese Restaurant and Ume Tatami Suite. Tourists can rent a set of Kimono for your own photography session.
The waterfall and small lake often a spot that people usually take photo at. They do help tourists to take photo inside the Japanese Tea House. Guests can also join the Japanese Tea ceremony which have 4 sessions daily.
#4 Food
There are a few restaurants located in Colmar Tropicale French Village and Japanese Village which serves French and Japanese cuisine. Other than that, there’s also a Chinese food restaurant located near Bukit Tinggi.
La Cigogne
A French Fine Dining restaurant that awarded the best serviced restaurant by Tatler Malaysia in 2005. It served classic French cuisine with a romantic dining environment.
La Blason
It served International and Malaysian special food, a mixture of local and international tastes.
La Flamme
A restaurant that served Italian cuisine such as pasta and pizza. They do have beers and wines where tourists usually have pizza and beer.
Le Poulet Roti
The main items in this restaurant is their roasted chicken served with hot and cold side dishes and muffins.
La Boulangerie
An all-day French bakery where tourists usually hang out for tea time. It served pastries, sandwiches, coffee, and desserts.
Grande Burger
A western restaurant that served good homemade burger.
Le Vin
Le Vin is a French pub or bar that served beers, wines, whisky and finger food. People usually hang out at here during nighttime with their loved one or families.
Ryo Zan Tei
Ryo Zan Tei is the only one restaurant located in Japanese Village that serves classic Japanese cuisine.
Restaurant Foon Lock
A Chinese-based restaurant nearby Colmar Tropicale for those who craves for fresh seafood spread. There’s a small market along the street where you can find fresh fruits and Bentong ginger.
