#1 Despacito
We have all heard this song for at least a gazillion times playing on the radio, in the bars/clubs, on the street and even on our social media platforms. Despacito, a Spanish which means “slowly” in English, broke the record of YouTube views, reaching as much as 4 billion views. The song has also brought up conversations about crossover culture.
#2 Baby Shark
The #BabySharkChallenge went viral in the early days of August 2017. Numerous YouTubers or social media users take on the challenge, posting cover dance of the Baby Shark song. This song went insanely viral, you’ll even have at least one annoying family, friends or colleague who will play this song over and over again. Somehow or rather, you’ll find this rather contagious that you’ll end up singing or dancing together with them naturally.

#3 Ed Sheeran- Shape of You
If you pay close attention to Ed Sheeran’s songs, ‘Shape of You’ has a rather unique meaning on its lyrics. It’s mostly about the proposal of love or interest on a woman and falling in love with woman’s body. It’s so catchy, your body will dance to it automatically.
#4 Harry Styles- Sign of the Times
Harry Styles, an English singer and songwriter, also one of the member of boy band One Direction. He came out with this song ‘Sign of the Times’ as his debut solo single. His official music video went up almost six minutes with an eccentric piano ballad stretching. Harry once revealed that he was inspired by a young mother that has only 5 minutes left to live after childbirth.
#5 Ed Sheeran- Perfect
Back on the list again, Ed Sheeran is well-known for his knack for love songs with lots of personal sentiments. ‘Perfect’ is incredibly beautiful and instantly became one of the hottest songs for weddings. He did a rendition of Perfect with Beyonce which is equally beautiful and overplayed by the local radio station as well.
