The Saga comes to an end? (Or, is it?)
After 8 Star Wars Film, including 3 prequels, and 5 sequels, (including the divisive The Last Jedi), the Star Wars saga is finally coming to an end this Christmas on 20 December 2019.
The first teaser of Skywalker was released back in April. After months of being teased by the director, cast and fan theories, the final trailer was dropped on 21 October – on what would have been Carrie Fisher’s 62nd birthday.
Tickets went on sale the same day, and fans wasted no time in buying pre-sale tickets. Within one hour, more tickets were sold than Avengers: Endgame, and they have also sold more than any previous Star Wars films!

Many also joked that the saga is not truly over, as Star Wars has trilogies planned for the 2020s, scheduled to hit in December of 2022 2024 and 2026. They are untitled yet and are still in development. We’ll be wondering what will hit us next…

Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker is scheduled to hit theatres here on 18th December 2019.
