If you’re on Facebook often, you’ve probably stumbled upon someone sharing a few unconventional and rather creepy videos about several web series.
Deemed as building a scary universe in our small screens, these web series are produced and licensed by Crypt TV – a digital video startup that collaborates with storytellers around the world to bring the next generation of scary monsters to life.
Founded by Jack Davis, a 25-year-old entrepreneur and Eli Roth, director of “Hostel”, they saw an opening for social media sites that are filled with cute animal videos and comedy sketches, leaving a gap for the horror genre. Crypt release about 100 videos every three months and uses the power of social media to its advantage – getting immediate feedback from their audience.
