We hope you’ve got your tickets and accommodations settled, cause Good Vibes Festival is coming in a month!
Since its beginnings in 2013, Good Vibes Festival, dubbed as “Malaysia’s Coachella”, has been one of Malaysia’s hottest music festivals and it’s growing with many headlining artists like Lorde, G-Eazy, SZA and soon Daniel Caesar.
Check out the artists performing in 2019’s Good Vibes Festival here.

Here are the Do’s and Don’t’s of Good Vibes Festival:
Do’s
1. Hydrate
We love Malaysia’s unpredictable weather-moods, but regardless, with all the dancing and oily foods that are being served, it’s important to hydrate yourself throughout the day(s).
2. Sit On The Ground Earlier For Your Favorite Acts
Sitting down early for your favorite artists an hour before the performance is totally acceptable. This comes in handy when you’re with a group of friends, as each of you can take turns to do activities. (Taking Instagram pictures, getting food, etc.)
3. Take Pictures In Least-Crowded Areas
Because of the crowd, once you’re allowed to enter into Good Vibes Festival. It is advised to make your way to the furthest picturesque attraction so there will be lesser crowds, hence it’ll buy you more time to get that perfect shot for Instagram.
4. Bring Raincoats/Umbrellas
In case of unexpected downpours, it’s critical that you bring umbrellas or raincoats to not ruin that cute outfit of yours. Unless you’re the kind of person who enjoys dancing/singing in the rain, then hey, by all means!
5. Make Sure You Wear Little or Long-Lasting Makeup
For ladies, a natural or long-wearing base makeup is advised to be able to combat the weather in case it melts off. And waterproof mascara! So no smudging will occur during your awesome time dancing and singing your worries away.
Don’ts
1. Wear White Shoes
In fear of rainy weathers and muddy stains, as well as multiple people jumping up and down on a stomping rampage. It is highly advisable not to wear white shoes, if you would like to keep them white.
2. Over-pack
During the concert, it’s not convenient to have a heavy bag weighing on your aching shoulders while you’re dancing out to Rae Sremmurd. Just bring the necessities will do.
3. Underestimate The Amount Of Cash You’ll Need
They don’t take credit cards at Good Vibes Festival and we highly doubt that the ATM machine is just right around the corner. So do bring enough cash for you to last through the night(s), with food and drinks to recharge yourself.
4. Wear Too Much Makeup
Melting away through the night is not a good look, unless you have a whole touch-up crew waiting for you at any time, we suggest to go for a natural dewy look. Check out our article on how to achieve the Asian dewy-skin look here.
5. Drugs and Alcohol
Common sense, be responsible of yourselves and look out for your friends. We hate to sound like the bad cop here, but safety first!
Overall, we hope these tips give you enough time to prep for GVF. Have we missed out on any of the Do’s and Don’ts? Let us know!
