Positivity may not be the complete solution to every obstacle that comes our way, but it definitely helps us to lead happier and more radiant lives!
Positivity enriches our experiences by giving our minds clarity and stability which overflows into our interactions with others, our ability to learn and make better judgements or it might even be as simple as creating wonderful memories.

1. Pay Attention To Positive Things
Step into the positive zone by simply focusing on positive things.
Life will always be a mashup of highs and lows, and more often than not we let the negative things blur our vision for all the bits of good there still is in the mix! So you get dressed for a really fancy date, and then you had to get your dress stained on the very first course! What do we do? Instead of sulking and letting that little stain ruin our entire opportunity to have a great night, how about getting it cleaned real quickly, and then proceed to have the most memorable night with your date!

Do this at work, at home and even in traffic! This can be really challenging to start, but as we train our minds daily to focus on every bit of positivity we can find, life can be so beautiful!
2. Create An Atmosphere For Positivity

Familiar with the saying “You are what you surround yourself with”? Doing a little act of kindness, talking to a child, being around empowering people, or reading a good book, are simple ways to create an atmosphere for positivity. Being on the giving end does not only feel good, it shifts our focus off ourselves and rewards us with new perspectives we need for a breakthrough!
3. Choose Your Words

Do you know that we can change the way we think or feel about ourselves simply by how we speak to ourselves! Imagine being our greatest cheerleader rather than our biggest critic! We don’t have to exaggerate or lie to ourselves, but how about start by intentionally using positive words or practise positive alternatives. For example, instead of saying “It was a horrible day!”, say “It could have been better!”. By doing this, we can make positive words accessible and connected to our lives!
4. Be Thankful

It is no secret that a grateful heart is a happy heart. The centre of gratitude is contentment and that is the highest degree of positive thinking. Start our day with gratitude for the most ordinary thing we can find in your surroundings. Like the air, a roof over our heads and running water from the tap. In the same way, we end our day reflecting on all the good there is, big or small.
5. Make Room For Yourself
It is so important to take time off amidst our busy schedules for the things we enjoy. It can be going out for a run, shopping or even sitting in silence. This is our opportunity to declutter and get rid of the negative stuff sitting in the back of our minds and replacing them with good and pure energy.
