Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and love birds around the world will pull out all the stops to express their romantic sentiments toward the apple of their eye.
Although love is to be celebrated every single day, but Valentines Day is just an extra special day set aside every year to remind us what we have in front of us and to appreciate every moment of it.
However, celebrations can be a little too pricey or it may just be the fact that you gambled a little too much on Chinese New Year and have very little penny’s and dimes left in your wallet. Either way, Sevenpie has got you covered because we have found some good budget gifts and ideas that could be a literal lifesaver!
Before we proceed to our list, here’s a gentle reminder to everyone.
This list isn’t just for you love birds out there. If you’re a singleton like some of us, don’t feel left out because love is universal. You can always express your love to your bestie, pet, family, or just anyone you love be it with a gift or just tell them that you love and appreciate them!
1. Be creative
Diamonds and designer handbags are so last year, in 2019 we stan a gift from the heart!
Be creative, get your hands dirty and think of something that could remind that person that you love them.
Here’s one simple idea, make an album of pictures that reminds the other person of the good times together. If you’re extra broke, get your laptop and create a video presentation!
2. Be your own chef
Can’t afford to bring that person to a fancy restaurant?
Well, cooking from home is always cheaper and ingredients can be purchased at a very cheap price if you shop at the right place at the right time!
Decorate your dining room as fancy as possible, cook food that the other person enjoys and BAM! You’ve got yourself a five-star meal!
3. A meaningful hand-written message
Words can go a long way.
Take that saying into action and write a meaningful handwritten message, include keywords that would make the other person appreciate the letter. Include a lot of “you” in the letter as well, make sure she or he knows that your heart is embedded into the letter!
4. After dinner plans
After dining at your five-star home, maybe you could take a midnight stroll around a park. After all, it’s free!
5. Movie night
Get a good romantic movie like The Notebook or a film genre the other person loves. Sit back, relax and play it in the comfort of your own home!
Warning! We’re not responsible for the tears!
