From fancy lounges, rooftop bars to Insta-worthy restobars, KL homes several of its best kept secrets that come out to play during the night.
And we’re here to help you out with a list of 2019’s bars to check out, that will take your stress on a one-night vacation!
1. Lucky Tora
Entering to the streets of Changkat, Lucky Tora enters into the nightlife with its restobar with a big roar! With soul-warming Japanese-eats with a modern punch and sake cocktails with Southeast-Asian subtleties like Pandan to Assam fruit, Lucky Tora aims to please in its spirits and its food. With aesthetic wicket chairs, neon-signs and an artsy asphalt to first greet you at the forefront, you’d be itching to get a photo at every corner.
From Yakitoris to Szechua-style gyozas, Lucky Tora’s food is sure to leave you wanting more. (Psst, psst, if you love seafood, we recommend trying the Sashimi Ceviche) Along with the difference in ambience during day and night is one you’ll want to wait for.

4. Kirin Bar
The newest cousin and addition to Mr. Chew’s Chino Latino Bar, this bar is a perfect spot to get you and your friends fired-up before dinner or the big night-out. With its zen-like ambience in the décor, that exudes Japanese comfort and casual-chic. To amp up the comfort, Kirin Bar encourages self-service as much as to pour your own drinks.
Of course, it wouldn’t really be a Japanese-inspired bar without its sake and rice wine, and Kirin Bar does not run short on that. With its house-made infused sake, it is totally a game changer. Along with its signature “Takeaway Gin & Tonic” that comes in a form of a takeout box, who said that takeout boxes were only meant for fortune cookies and lo meins?
