We’re all most likely guilty of doing at least one of the following on the list.
Well, guess what? You’re not alone, we all do it too! So here are 7 weird things we do but won’t admit.
1. Pretend to look at your phones during awkward situations
Have you ever attended an event where you don’t really know anyone there? And you’re just socially awkward? If your answer is yes, then I’m pretty sure you’ve done #1.
Here’s a relatable equation,
Awkward settings = pretending to be on our phone or scrolling through social media even though there’s no new content available.
2. Google yourself
It’s also called “egosurfing.”
3. Pretend to not see someone you know
I can already imagine you readers grinning. You see someone you know, but it’s either you don’t look your best that day or you’re just not in the mood to have the “How’ve you been” talk so you look down or turn away hoping they don’t spot you.
4. Talk smack about someone else in your head
Mama told me that if I have nothing nice to say I shouldn’t say it at all. So, we just avoid saying it out loud.
5. Stalk your ex on social media
This includes ex-friends too. We’re pretty sure you’ve done a little stalking on social media to see if they’re doing better than us, or sometimes just to see if they’re well and healthy.
6. Open a gift and pretending you like it
Now, this isn’t too bad. We pretend to like a bad gift because we don’t want to make the other person feel bad right?
7. Daydream in class or a meeting
Have you ever exited a class or a meeting and immediately realize that you don’t remember anything you’ve learnt? If the answer is yes, then you should probably want to keep the dreaming for bed time.
If you’re like us and is guilty for more than 1 of the above, let us know in the comments!
