RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Tag by Touch N Go is a new electronic toll payment system that uses a sticker to pass through toll.
It works similarly like a barcode or QR scanner whereby the overhead will scan the tag when the car passes by the toll counter, and the toll fare will be deducted from the Touch ‘n Go eWallet which is linked to the sticker.
The RFID sticker can only be registered under one vehicle and to be stuck on either the headlight, or the windscreen. Do note that your headlight or windscreen must not be tinted as it can only be placed on a clear glass surface.
And now you can get your free RFID set up at these 9 places and remember to bring these documents along with you:
- Original and copy of NRIC or Driving License or Passport (if non-Malaysian)
- Copy of Vehicle Ownership Certificate (Grant) or valid Insurance Cover Note
- Authorization letter from vehicle owner (this is if the Touch ‘n Go eWallet account holder and vehicle owner are different)
