Just when you think that’s not cool enough, Taylor’s pulls another surprise with their open air double decker.
In case you’re wondering where is this going, this is about the Taylor’s University College we’ve all came to love which was originally located at SS15, Subang Jaya. On the 4th of January, the inevitable Taylor’s Bold Forward Move happened. With flashy Harvey- Davidson bikes and double decker bus, Taylor’s Pre-U campus was officially moved to their lakeside campus in the most extravagant manner possible. – that’s one helluva way to ring in the new year, no?
Ranging from a variety of courses and with one of Malaysia’s top-notch campuses, Taylor’s has been producing top students in their respective fields since 1969. With 49 years of experience in the education field and over 3,000 career partners and 70,000 alumni as top leaders, it is no wonder why Taylor’s University College is deemed one of the best private university in Malaysia.

During the day of the big move itself, it was indeed a star-studded event as Taylor’s grace the presence of fellow alumni and current students, such as Talitha Tan, Ming Yue (one half of The Ming Thing), Dior Yaw, Poly Pang, Jewel Goh, Becca Lee and more who took part in the event. Everyone were in a ball of emotions as they reminisce their bitter-sweet days back in Taylor’s.
The event took off in their Subang Jaya Pre-U campus where students, lecturers and alumni of Taylor’s were gathered together. Harley-Davidson bikes and an open air double decker bus were arranged to transport everyone to their main campus; it signifies the official move from the SS15 campus to their lakeside campus, for good.
Everyone, including Taylor’s alumni and Malaysian personalities like Talitha Tan, The Ming Thing, Becca Lee, as well as the Dean of Taylor’s University College, Ms Josephine Tan, were ferried to the main campus on Harleys!
Yup, their Dean is officially cooler than yours.
The world (in the form of traffic) was put on hold for a moment so that the bikes and buses make their way to the threshold smoothly. Because of that, it didn’t take long for everyone to get to the Lakeside campus where a warm welcome from Taylorians ensued!
An opening ceremony was also put into motion, with speeches from the Dean and other VIPs as well as a major throwback of a performance.
