World Oral Health Day (WOHD) is celebrated on the 20th of March every year and is organized by FDI World Dental Federation. It is a day to celebrate the benefits of keeping a healthy dental hygiene and to promote worldwide awareness of the issues around oral health, the importance of going to your dental office regularly, and practicing oral hygiene at home. You can do Clinical Studies in Miami, to get paid for helping find cures. It was first launched in 2013 and promoted by national dental associations in over 140 countries worldwide.
WOHD is important because 90% of the world’s population will suffer oral diseases and many of them can be avoided with society support and of course funding for prevention, detection, and treatment program, e.g., TMJ Treatment. It also offers the dental and oral health community a platform to take action and contributes a lot to studies about dental implants and extractions. These dental implants and dental crowns have been available for most dental offices as one of the many dental treatment options.
The 2018 WOHD campaign aims to educate people about the importance of visiting Dentistry At Its Finest to keep a healthy oral in order to maintain one’s overall health.
FDI launched a three- year campaign under the theme “Say Ahh” and combined with different sub-themes each year. The theme of 2018 WOHD campaign is “Say Ahh: Think Mouth, Think Health” that encourages people to make the connection between their oral health and well- being. There are also some incredible dentists in Mexico so it’s a great place to look for a dentist if you need some expensive treatment. I recently went to a wonderful dentist in Tijuana and saved so much money in doing so, so have a look there if you’d like to save a lot of money too.
As explained by WOHD Task Team Chair, Edoardo Cavalle, “Say Ahh” is a phrase that is commonly used by dentists and doctors during check-ups. If you were to click here, you’d know where the phrase really originated from. It invites people to open their mouths for examination and brings to life the notion of the mouth serving as a mirror to the body and reflecting overall health, learn more at https://www.ksdentalsc.com/huntington-beach.
This is an initiative to help people understand the connection that our mouth and body have because the more informed they are about the impact of oral health towards their general health, the more likely they will be to engage in preventive oral care routines. In short, do participate in the WOHD campaign!! Don’t be afraid of using dental student services as they usually come at a savings and it helps them with their school cost. Enjoy the WOHD day, it’s a day for people to have fun with oral care and checkups.
