Adele: Hi Jennifer.
Jennifer: Hello, hello I’m Jennifer Ling and I’m an influencer. I believe everyone knows how I’ve been cooking every time, but recently there’s been more slow down la, because the open process material is more busy.
Adele: How did you start this journey to become an influencer in the first place?
Jennifer: Now the influencer all are very young, we are considered the older generation, I think we when the influencer is not like now, purposely will say eh I want to do influencer, so now the people is that they will have a lot of planning I want to do youtuber, I want to say do this The way we used to be is that eh maybe we are doing freelance, and then so there are gain to followers people see us to us to take pictures, and then they tag us then slowly followers become more time, and then client will come to find. So I think it is unconsciously become influencer this way. So of course I think maybe I am very like to share, really how I entered to this industry is I participated in beauty pageant, of course from that side I will start to gain to many followers, and then after my beauty pageant, actually I have joined a reality show in Bali. So I think on that side just one week is very exaggerated for followers. So I gained 10,000 followers in that one week.
Adele: You think in the whole journey, because you do not just do thermomix. You certainly have to do a lot of different things, you think you are in the journey of entrepreneurship, you understand the most valuable thing is what?
Jennifer: I believe that in fact you work ah, you do sales ah are the beginning of your business to come, because you will know people from that side so the same influencer is actually also an industry minion, so because in that side many people know you eh go out and tell people eh hello, but in fact you do not know who he is, because he is looking at you every day, he thought he knew you, but in fact you do not know him, but you are over there is he this way know you after you sell things ah or so, he will go support, rather than lose in their own hands. Do not invest indiscriminately.
Adele: It seems that when you start a business, how do you look interested in cooking? I think it is because of family and also, my mother from childhood. I just look at my mother every day for rice of that kind, and then the mother is also very powerful at cooking things, I just look at look and then learn. Look at me from a few years of grade. I will start to fry rice in this kind of bar, to learn from my mother, and then long and grow up. First I like to cook, and then from a healthy diet, that side is healthy cooking. You say it is very difficult, in fact, I do not know. But until of course I sell the Thermomix after, I will study those recipe materials after more and will go to do more complex things.
Adele: Now you’re other’s wife, although you have not had your official wedding but has signed ah and so on. Then I really want to ask you, yourself how you met with your husband, and then you believe in love at first sight?
Jennifer: In fact, I did not talk very much. I think the first look to see a good feeling this will have, in fact I am his customer. At that time I bought fish with him, because he was selling frozen seafood, so that time also because I could not enter this cooking industry, so it became necessary to use a lot of ingredients. Yes, I asked my friend eh there is no introduction to sell is some of this, I just my friends do not know, and then introduce me ah, and I approached after, to finally chat with him, chatting to eh he just knows I am selling Thermomix. That time he got a giveaway. So he said like we can do collaboration. So I went to his live before. And we became friends like that.
Adele: So what do you think like after marriage. What the top 3 most important things?
Jennifer: The first is not to be perfunctory, then the second is not to criticize, the third is not to cheat. For me, don’t be perfunctory. That is, paktor or marriage, if you have a long time, we will also take many things for granted. Like when I talk to you, you may be busy again will not immediately go to reply me ah, have a response ah this way slowly that attention is less. But I think this to be very important, is to be sure to remind each other, that is, may speak oh I speak to you today such things have been two times, three times, I did not get your reply such not criticism, is to supportive cluck of course so to have communication, is not to speak oh you do such things immediately speak, you are not right or What so, you have to know eh reason is what, why you will think so? Adele: I think deception is already full of great, because do not deceive is a kind of trust, so you trust a person it is also on behalf of you is a kind of respect, is also a kind of importance, is also a kind of hold each other in the heart of the first thing. Not to say that you have to respect me, as if you are the emperor is also backward like this, not this meaning, but very respectful, so that the other side have been heard by the other side this way.
Jennifer: This year, I’m entering my 30th year. But I think for girls, really into the 30’s may be very different compared to boys, you are in a very awkward stage, people want to call you started to call you aunty.
Adele: That is simply aunty, can not fake well, is aunty up that can be called your sister. No sister anymore is aunty. After thirty oh I totally feel no difference, because when you are already at thirty years old, you just know that in fact your life has just begun ah because if you live to seventy years old, you really just started eh because you are zero years old to eighteen years old you are only studying ah, you are not living.
Jennifer: So what is your expectation for 2023? What is this expectation or a hope? I am in twenty-nine years old actually also have a great change, it seems as if there is actually no change, but I now want to go back, in fact, really from you speak January was proposed, March on the signature, and then began to busy new home, from the whole home decoration ah to all I go follow up this way, to miscarriage then wait after the move. Now so now is to start to go in the wedding inside learning la. So I hope this thirty years old is more planning, that is, will be more think about the future because the previous do things did not talk about too far, is possible eh what to do at the moment I also do not want to do for how long. Eh I invested in something I did not think about how much to return. I think now everything to do, you have to think about your family, your future.
Adele: You just had to talk about miscarriage is ah, not every mother can be so open to say maybe you can just share a bit.
Jennifer: Uh this is a very common thing to come, in fact I believe that many people just did not speak out, because even if I go to see the doctor either, he is also to say do not be discouraged, and then is not to feel sad or disappointed. Do not feel that you have done something wrong, that is, many people will think oh may be I go travel ah, may be eh I have not stabilized. It will abort. Adele: I think you are very optimistic, not every mother can be as frank and open as you share, I think it’s great.
