Greetings June, wasn’t expecting you to be here so soon.
The first half of 2019 started off pretty intense with blockbusters like The Avengers: End Game and Aladdin. Trust us when we say, it doesn’t end there.
Here are 8 upcoming films to be released in the rest of the year:
1. Men In Black: International
Everyone’s all-time favourite action movie, this time without Will Smith or Tommy Lee. What? We know. But there’s a perfectly good reason not to be absolutely ballistic about it because Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson will star in it instead. Except, not as Thor and Valkyrie, obviously. 2. Toy Story 4
The mischievous spirited toys make a come back once more in this fourth instalment of the classic Toy Story sequel. Iconic duo Woody and Buzz Lightyear will embark on yet another journey with new addition of toys. You wouldn’t wanna miss out! Watch the trailer here.

3. Spider-man: Far From Home
It might be end game for The Avengers but it’s certainly just the beginning for Tom Holland. To live in a world without Tony Stark, he must level-up emotionally and physically to face new threats, which we know our friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man is definitely capable of. Watch the trailer here.

4. The Lion King
Everyone has a soft spot for The Lion King 1994, and now Disney is going to bless us again with a remake! With Donald Glover as the voice of Simba and Beyoncé as Nala, we already know it’s going to be epic. Watch the trailer here.

5. Wonder Woman: 1984
Admit it – most of us had a major crush on Gal Gadot when the first Wonder Woman film was released. Our favourite DC Comics character returns in another sequel, this time set in the 80s. The heroine squares off against her archnemesis, Cheetah. Certainly the next superhero movie we needed after Avengers: End Game.

6. Frozen 2
Conceal, don’t feel, don’t let them know your excitement for the second sequel Frozen! Yay to more sisterhood as they embark on an action-packed adventure. Watch the trailer here.

7. Jumanji 3
More of Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillian in one movie? Sign us up! Although there isn’t much info released about the film, one thing for sure – it’s a work in progress. And we are trying to contain ourselves, we really are.
8. Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker
Are you ready for the final battle? Join Rey, Finn and Poe Dameron as they continue their journey in this finale of the Star Wars trilogy. Coming to you this December so you can conclude your year like a proper Jedi. Watch the trailer here.
