Mark your calendars, pack your bags, for there is no more worry of breaking bank when you choose to travel back to your hometowns in the East!
Minister of Transport, Anthony Loke, announces the ministry’s collaboration with homegrown airline mogul AirAsia to offer fixed-rate tickets during not only Chinese New Year but Hari Raya Aidilfitri as well. He describes the primary aim of the initiative to be to allow those of the younger population to fly back to their homes from the Peninsula.

This, however, doesn’t come without a catch! Fixed, one-way all-in fares are only available during late-night flights between Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah and Sarawak. AirAsia will also add flights to 20 routes across Malaysia and to Singapore.
The tickets will be limited in quantity and available for sale online since the 7th of January. Now you can save your accumulated wealth in ang pows for things other than the nuisance that is flight tickets.
Get your hands on affordable flight tickets this festive period at AirAsia! Be sure to give this a like and a share if you’ve enjoyed this story!
