McDonald’s Malaysia has recently upped the ante by introducing a new flavor to their dessert menu.
Called the Chicken Rendang Pie, it is definitely a snack that locals would enjoy since it pays tribute to the savoury and piquant flavors of the timeless dish.
We’re glad to have an excuse to eat it on its own now! The flavorful pie which has “chunks of chicken and fragrant rendang” is encased within an absolutely irresistible curry puff crust instead of the usual apple pie crust.
It’s flaky crust certainly complements the rendang’s rich consistency with just the right amount spiciness and a hint of faint woody aroma of ginger.
That’s not all!
The fast food giant has also brought back its heavenly Salted Caramel and Chocolate pie.
Consists of two fillings side by side, this lethal combination is the true definition of two is better than one.
Just imagine biting into the pie and a wave of warm chocolate and salted caramel oozes into your mouth.
If pie is not your cup of tea, then you can perhaps go for their soft swerve! McDonald’s decided to reintroduce their KitKat McFlurry, a chocolate ice-cream topped with a generous serving of KitKat bites and chocolate swirls.
Its chocolate goodness makes the perfect textural contrast that will leave your palette with a sweet aftertaste.
