It’s that time of the year again where Malaysia crowns our next pageant queen! That’s not all, the crowning of the coveted title happened just minutes before International Women’s Day!
The title of Miss Universe Malaysia 2019 was announced just last night where 22-year-old Shwetajeet Kaur took home the crown.
It was held at the most majestic venue there is in town, which is non other than Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur!
The runner-up title went to Yaw Hui Jing, who is also known as Frosty Yaw.
Second runner-up goes to 23-year-old Tessminderjit Kaur
And the third-runner up went to Lee Su Hsien aka Su Lee.
The panel of judges included a few big names like Kiran Jassal who was a familiar face at the Miss Universe stage, as she was Miss Universe Malaysia 2016. Not to mention, actress Lynn Lim also made an appearance at the panel.
Celebrity hairstylist Miko Au and Miss Universe Indonesia 2013 Whulandary Herman also had sits on the panel! And many more judges who had a say in this year’s winners!
That’s not all, titles such as Miss Congeniality and Miss Babel Body Beautiful went to Jean Kueh.
While Miss Duchess & Co. Online Personality went to Nikita Menon
And lastly, Miss Galere Exceptional Coiffure was given to Rebecca Chan.
We’re excited to see our new Miss Universe Malaysia Shwetajeet represents Malaysia at the Miss Universe Pageant where she will compete with women of beauty and brains from all around the world!
