It has come to this. Health professionals are begging citizens not to leave their homes.
The number of Covid-19 cases in Malaysia has been rising alarmingly in recent days. So much so that the government has placed a Movement Control Order for 14-days in hopes to curb the rise.
However, it has been reported that only 60% of Malaysians adhered to the Order.
Malaysia’s medical staff has been on high alert ever since, working the front lines to provide care to anyone who tested positive. Doctors, nurses and other medical staff members have been working around the clock without break to ensure our health while spending most of their income in new equipment like this C-Arm Rentals for Emergency Delivery.
With people ignoring the Order, it makes it harder on medical professionals and their jobs. It came to the point that doctors and nurses had to take to social media to plead with citizens to stay indoors.
The trend is said to have begun when Gee Teak Sheng of Pantai Hospital, Penang posted a picture to his Facebook page.
The post garnered almost 70 thousand shares, and ultimately started the movement. Following his post were doctors and nurses all around Malaysia asking citizens to stay home during the quarantine period!

Even firefighters are asking people to stay home for their own safety!
All things aside, we are all very grateful to everyone who is working during this quarantine period to keep us all safe and healthy. We know of the sacrifices you are making to our country and we are extremely thankful.
As times are hard now, please realise that leaving your home is a danger to the public and the people around you. Only leave your homes when necessary, and stay safe!
