The highly-anticipated collaboration of the American rapper, singer-songwriter, Travis Scott with Nike has officially been announced.
After Travis Scott was given the privilege by Jordan Brand to redesign their AJ1 and AJ6 back in 2019, he further moved on to the other inlines of Nike to rethink the being of Air Max 270 React.
The palette of the Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 270 React was seen to be similar with the past shoes designed. The tooling of the shoe is marked with imperfectly brushed striking yellow colour with a brown toe cap padding. The shoe also included a suede textile near the heel area, behind the orange swoosh logo. Travis also included a dusty blue tone on the tongue of the shoe together with white shoe laces and his signature “Cactus Jack” branding behind. The body of the shoe is dyed to be a soft desert sand, completing the whole earthy toned, La Flame persona.
During the quarantine period, Travis posted a video of himself in the shoe while composing a song on Instagram. Intriguingly, the Nike swoosh logo seen on Travis’s video is much bigger than the one revealed, making it unclear on which design will be the released version.
