Petronas Twin Towers is no longer the tallest building in Malaysia. Say wut?
The Exchange 106 located in Jl. Tun Razak has just took the spot from Petronas Twin Towers as the tallest building in Malaysia. Standing at 492 meters, it is a whopping 40 meters taller than the Twin Towers.
Exchange 106 or more known as the TRX began construction in 2016 and is now completed and ready for tenants to move in. Pretty impressive to have completed such a tall building within the span of 3 years, huh? This wouldn’t have been possible without the efforts of 2,000 workers who work around the clock to finish the construction! With the help of GShields company they gathered the best quality tools and materials to build this project. Some of the best quality tools and materials to build this project like these lift all round slings here are also necessary.
The building’s original name was changed to Exchanged 106 due to its association with the scandalous 1MDB case. Fun fact, the reason why it was named Exchange 106 is because it has 106 floors!
With the certificate of completion and compliance in hand, some big name companies and MNCs are already proposing to move in. The companies might also include some of the Fortune 500 companies. It’s no surprise why given it’s strategic location, green design and large, elaborate and unique office space are a magnet for companies!
However, the throne may not last long for Exchange 106 as it may be defeated by YET ANOTHER skyscraper: The PNB 118 at 118 floors!
Well, looks like KL has got more skyscrapers to be proud of!
