How’s that for an unexpected pairing Internet?!
UNIQLO has decided to team up with a video-creating platform, TikTok for their new #UTPlayYourWorld campaign.
The campaign consists of a challenge where people on TikTok are allowed to participate, running from 25th June to 11th July.
TikTok users will have to create their interpretation of what they deem as something creative or inspiring (UT Moments), whilst wearing their favourite UT UNIQLO outfit. Participants are also required to incorporate the specially-made #UTPlayYourWorld music track in their TikTok videos.
The contest is open to people in Taiwan, USA, Japan and France. And the winners will stand a chance of having their video played in UNIQLO stores and on their social media accounts. (Sorry, fellow Malaysians!)
For those of you who don’t know what UT is, it is UNIQLO’s special collection of graphic tees, showcasing pop-culture influences that encourages freedom to express. With their philosophy of “Wear Your World”, they’re hoping for that philosophy to spread by teaming up with an app as viral as TikTok.
