Our Muslim netizens can finally drink Boba tea in peace!
Previously a thick cloud of controversy has hung over Muslim bubble tea drinkers in regards to two infamous giants of the industry – Xin Fu Tang and The Alley. These two, lacking a JAKIM’s Halal certification, sparked debate over the extent to which those who were Muslim could actually drink their products
Kitea’s drinks, on the other hand, are guaranteed Halal. Their products are mostly imported from Taiwan and they use Australian Fresh Milk for their beverages.

Moreover, they joined the Halal Expo at Stadium Ipoh (Perak) in November 2019 as well! That’s amazing, isn’t it?
Kitea opened their first cafe in Ipoh last year and since then, they have expanded their business across Malaysia and have plans to go international as well.
