Isn’t it amazing? Another milestone achieved for the Malaysia animated film industry!
Malaysia’s animated film Ejen Ali: The Movie has finally made it into the cinemas after being aired as a television series almost 3 years ago.
Thanks to the multitalented creator of Ejen Ali, Usamah Zaid Yasin not only proves how far the Malaysian film industry has greatly improved in terms of film and animation but however it has also gained a lot of likes and support locally and internationally.
Before it all started, one netizen mentions on Twitter that Ejen Ali: The Movie is currently receiving positive rave reviews from the world’s most popular and authoritative source of film reviews, IMDb.
What. Did Ejen Ali just score a 9.5 on IMDB????? Ok I have to sit down. Well done Usamah and Wau Animation. Well done.

The IMDb site rates the Ejen Ali a 9.4 out of 10, which is considered relatively high for a Malaysian animated film, wow!
In fact, it is not easy to receive such a high rating from a notable review site!
Released just a few days ago on November 28 this year, the story revolves around the adventures of a teen boy named Ali who is working for a secret agency named the Meta Advance Tactical Agency (MATA) named Ali. Sounds like Mission Impossible, eh?
One respondent also mentions that the movie is ‘full of plot twists and does not mind if the movie is repeated all day!’. Ejen Ali sounds like a pretty fun and family-friendly film to watch! The film is rated ‘U’ and features Malay, English, and Chinese subtitles.
This isn’t the first time that Malaysia has produced quality work in the animation department, animated films including Upin and Ipin and BoBoiBoy have gained international attention as well. We hope that more masterpieces like Ejen Ali will help boost Malaysia’s film industry and the future.
