“10/10. Pls come again” a M’sian Praises Muse’s Concert, Says It’s the Best Show He Has Ever Watched in KL
After the disastrous ending at Good Vibes Festival, many Malaysians, especially the concertgoers are “compensated” with perhaps the best show in Malaysia this year during the weekend.
Muse’s concert at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium on Saturday (July 29) was electrifying and fans were thrilled by the band’s performance. One of the concertgoers who was present, Azrul Anwar shared the exciting experience on his Facebook account, calling it the best show he has ever watched in Malaysia. We’ve got quite a few performances from international artists this year and Azrul definitely has his own reasons as to why the English rock band “seized the night” during their show in KL.
“Cheapest RM1K I’ve ever spent”
In his Facebook post, Azrul had nothing but fond words for his unforgettable experience at Muse’s concert. The lead singer, Matt Bellamy’s vocal received high praise from Azrul, who is the biggest fan of the band.
“His vocal and instrument were top notch. I spent RM1,000 for the concert but it was so good that I felt the ticket price was cheap.”
Following the “tantrum” by 1975’s front man, Matt Healy, many Malaysians voiced out their concerns about the possibilities of Muse cancelling their show in KL. Fortunately, fans were delighted to know that the show was scheduled to go on, with Matt Bellamy spotted in Langkawi a few days prior to the show where he was having quality time with his family.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Azrul said that the songs played during the show were aligned with Malaysians’ taste.
“They sang Missing, Unintended, Newborn, and of course, other songs too.”
To Azrul, the band itself was not the only good thing about the show but also the ambience, including the set up of the show such as lighting, pyrotechnics (the smoke, fireworks, flashes, explosions, etc.), audio and visuals
“Typically, the sound of the audience singing along tend to overpower the singer, but not in this case. I’m also stunned to see Matt in his LED outfit.”
Azrul rated his experience and the show a solid 10, saying, “Awesome. Please come again, Muse”.
It sounds like Muse knows what to do to “stop the time” and let the audience drown with the immersive experience. To those who were there on Saturday night, what did you like about their show? Do you want to see them coming back in the future?
